End to end strategy

Some of my work involves sensitive information, so the case study presented here is high level and limited. Branding has been removed from unreleased screens. If you have any questions, contact me to discuss.

The situation

As passkeys became the industry standard, the company needed a strategy for moving users from their current security methods without causing drop off at a delicate checkout moment.

The task

Create a content strategy that worked company-wide and design an interface for passkey creation at checkout.

The action

  • I ran workshops with product, marketing, design, and leadership to solidify direction and messaging

  • I partnered with our UX researcher to test and iterate on terminology, design, and information architecture

    • We ran large scale quantitative studies during concept and finalization phases

    • We ran smaller scale quantitative and qualitative tests to answer specific design and content question during the iterative phase

    • I expanded our research platforms from 1 to 3 to add language capabilities and regional recruiting

  • Along with a product designer, I developed flows for testing and iteration

  • I collaborated with our legal team to ensure regulatory complianceTogether with QA and engineering, I ensured that our design was correctly implemented

  • I prepared localization packages for regional launches and updated the string library

  • After I established the foundational patterns, I passed the work over to a UX writer and managed her work on options for A/B testing

  • Post launch, I worked with research and product to iterate and create an optimized screen for version 2
